dex is an english vocaloid created by the company zero-g for the vocaloid4 engine. he is american accented and has a clear, powerful voice. dex is the male counterpart to daina, a female english vocaloid with fox traits, their theme being "the fox and the hound".dex, daina, and many other western vocaloids star in the unofficial concert "VOCAMERICA", which is held by empath-p, also known as akiglancy.
headcanons
dex's ears and tail are a natural trait. his ears function just like a canine's, rotating, tilting, and moving depending on sounds heard or his current emotion.while his ears and tail are a part of his body, he has the ability to hide them, or "turn them off", should the producer prefer it that way. he dislikes doing so, and often remarks about how naked he feels without them.along with his other wolf-like features, dex has sharp cuspid teeth.he has a tendency to absentmindedly vocalize his thoughts, and often talks or sings to himself.dex is rather laid back ordinarily, but will not hesitate to respond in an overly sarcastic or defensive manner if he deems it appropriate. (this happens more often than not.)dex strongly dislikes people touching his stuff, particularly without permission.he loves singing songs that portray powerful emotions, be it sadness, love, anger, desperation, and et cetera.dex lives in an apartment, preferring the more compact living space over having some big, empty house. he lives alone, so he deems having too much space to be a little unnecessary, and likely to invite clutter. that said, a certain pair of singing androids live in this apartment complex as well.

one of little red's colorful little friends. older than mars, and a little tougher looking too, but apparently just as easily flustered as her. your only interaction with her has been her losing her cool and quite literally combusting, which is highly intriguing. maybe you'll follow her around for a while, see what her deal is.

one of your weird neighbors. in some ways, he's similar to yourself, but very different in a lot of ways, too. you do appreciate the contained chaos vibes he gives off, although you can't help but question his judgement sometimes... especially regarding the whole no-locks situation. then again, maybe he doesn't really need to worry about being assaulted if he's made of metal...
sekai forms
note that these are fanon, since. y'know, there's no chance any non-crypton vocaloid will ever actually be in project sekai as an actual character. i can dream, though. (maybe one day we'll at least get an english song featuring an english vocaloid.)also, for the sake of clarity, when interacting with these characters, dex is speaking japanese unless otherwise specified. it's just that he sounds like someone using dex's english voicebank to speak japanese as accurately as one could manage.
street sekai
dex of the street sekai is a generally laid back individual who, while having a casual attitude, has a tendency to speak bluntly, and has a generally low tolerance for the tomfoolery of the youngsters of the sekai. he enjoys visiting crase cafe for its fine food and drink, and often finds himself babysitting people (luka and kaito included) whenever meiko is out of the room.
wonderland sekai
dex of the wonderland sekai is more or less the straight man of the group, though unlike the troupe leader, he lacks any real level of responsibility. he seems to be very dedicated to his role of "the wolf", and is prone to teasing people-- especially miku (the cat) and luka (the sheep)-- though it's always in good fun. the canine stuffed animals follow him around a lot, and he refers to them as his pack.
